At the Door Shop we offer retractable screen solutions to compliment our range of Entry, Bifold and French Door Systems.  The retractable screens on offer are able to operated on all window types, door configurations (not including Pivotal door setups) and can even screen in entire patio/deck enclosures.  We have a system for every space, so whether its a pleated or rollaway system that you need, we can supply a screen to suit your requirements.

Monarch Series by National Screens

Our most popular screen, given it's price and versatility, is the Retractable Pleated Insect Screen by National Screens.
By installing one of the Monarch series of retractable insect screens, protecting your family from insects and disease is now a breeze.  The patented design uses pleated insect mesh incorporating a disappearing mesh guide with special anti-blowout clips that assist in keeping the mesh in place.  The screen is operated by a cord tensioning system that is incorporated with the pleated insect mesh. The cord tensioner assists in the tensioning of the screen and resists blowout in windy conditions.  A special feature of the screen is our unique retracting mesh guide, used to hold the mesh in position at the floor, that actually disappears when the screen is opened, giving the floor a safer, cleaner flush look.  The screen is smooth to operate and allows users to gently slide the screen into any position.  The Monarch series of insect screens are ideally suited for use with bi-fold doors, bi-fold windows, severy windows, French doors, balcony doors, stacker doors, entry doors, alfresco dining areas, sliding doors, balcony enclosures, outdoor entertainment rooms, screen rooms, awning and

Brio Retractable Pleated Insect Screen 

Brio 612 Retractable Pleated Insect Screen has been designed specifically for very large openings. In a single action it can span widths up to 4.5m. Two meeting screens can span up to 9m meaning that a single screen can accommodate a 5 door folding door unit and a double screen can take care of a 10 door unit.  This makes Brio 612 Retractable Pleated Insect Screen one of the biggest single action product of its type in the World. 

Brio has chosen pleated in preference to flat mesh as it is better suited for wide openings. At these widths, the Brio 612 pleated screen sits comfortably on the face of the jamb, in comparison to flat mesh that requires oversized canisters that need concealing.  Pleated screens are also inherently more stable to sag than flat mesh. Each pleat at 20mm wide set at an angle of 45 degrees adds stability to the screen.
